Pete's new CD is in. It will be available at many online stores within the next two weeks.

Jeff, Luis, and Michael have all outdone themselves with their performances and Pete was tearing it up trying to keep up.

Pete's new disc, "7 String Cinematoid" is in the works. Jeff will soon finish up all the drums and Pete will spreading his cheese over the tracks. Luis will be playing much of the bass along with Michael Passen (Concrete Prophet) who also played a few tracks on Pete's last CD.

The music will be similar in style to Childhood Memories so anyone who didn't like it won't like the new one either;) Stay tuned for updates.

Pete will be appearing in the Voodoo Amps Booth at 11am June 5th at the NY Ampshow www.ampshow.com

Pete is just about finished writing all the songs for his next CD. Pete's brother Jeff will be behind the drums while the bass duties will be split between Luis Nasser and Michael Passen (Concrete Prophet).

Pete promises the new release will be just as beefy as Childhood Memories.

Pete's new disc entitled "Childhood Memores" is done and should be available on http://www.guitar9.com/childhoodmemories.html and

This disc is melodic, guitar oriented, instrumental, progressive heavy rock and is not unlike any of his or the Bane's previous work, but will be a tad heavier since Pete now plays the 7 string.

Pete's new disc will be called "Childhood Memories." All mastering should be completed by Monday. We are all very excited.

Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater, Planet X, Alice Cooper, Billy Idol, and KISS) agreed to play a few solos on Pete's new disc. Derek will be done with his tracking in the next few days and we're hoping all mixing will be done by the end of April.

Pete and Jeff are going into the studio in early February to record the drums for Pete's upcoming instrumental disc. This disc should be a bit heavier since Pete now plays 7string.

Luis will be doing most of the bass work. Pete is hoping to have Michael Passen from Concrete Prophet sit in on a few tunes as well.

Look for a summer release date.

Luis is returning to Maryland for six weeks this summer. So far, we have one show booked on Saturday, June 16th at our favorite venue, Orion Studio Showcase. See the SHOWS page for more details.

Kurgan's Bane will be playing Friday May 12th at Mac's in Essex, MD. The Bane will be joined by Gary Leak and his new band Phaeton Condition. It will only be the two bands and each will play 75+ minute sets.

The Bane go on at 10pm and Phaeton Condition goes on at 11:45.

This show will also be a party to celebrate our drummer's (Jeff "The Bear" Laramee) 40th birthday. It should be a great time, and we hope everyone can make it!

Due to unforseen circumstances the SOAR show Saturday, April 22nd has been cancelled.

The BANE will still be playing this Wednesday, April 19th and we are looking forward to playing a new venue.

Well, our second show in a row has been cancelled. This time because the club closed down. We have been receiving emails regarding new show info and we will post any and all info as it comes available. Thanks to all of you for your support.

Our new, semi-anticipated CD, "Camouflaged In Static," is now available. This disc is slightly heavier and a little more "modern" in sound, but we promise it's still pure BANE. Please go to the Merch page and buy several hundred copies!

Two Bane CDs were featured on progpalaceradio.com on Friday, July 15th. (Sorry to post after the fact, but we didn't get word until the day before the show.)

Luis and his lovely wife Ursula welcomed their first child, Julia, around 6:30 a.m. on July 11. Mother and baby are doing well. We'll be sure to post photos of Dad changing his first diaper...
